The STEP certification in hands

One month after
the news that A. Sampaio had been approved in the demanding STEP
certification process, the official entities proceeded to the formal
delivery of the certificate.
The action was
held this Monday at the company´s headquarters in Santo Tirso, where it
was awarded the Sustainable Textile Production (STeP) by OEKO-TEX®
certification level 3, the highest in this area.
The company,
represented by João Mendes, Ana Furtado, Fátima Veiga and Augusto
Guimarães, received the certificate in hand, delivered by CITEVE,
represented by Braz Costa and Maria José Carvalho, accompanied by Paulo
Vaz and Ana Paula Dinis, of ATP (Portuguese Textil Association), responsible for Project Green Textile Club.
